An online monitor with quantitative information on the activities of museums and their communities on Facebook and Twitter.
Museum Analytics (MA) is an existing online monitor of the field of museums and social media and websites, developed by the company INTK (It's NotThat Kind).
Museum Analytics collects data entries from museums around the world. The RCE has invested in the monitor in order to be able to follow the performance of a specific group of 100 Dutch museums on Facebook and Twitter.
To make the monitor specifically Dutch, the RCE has invested in setting up a separate section and entered there the data on 100 museums throughout the Netherlands. This now makes it possible to follow the activities per week, month and year of these museums and their communities on Facebook and Twitter.
